I really like my camera. Love it, actually. The word "obsessed" has been thrown around a few times, but I'm not offended. I don't love the heavy hunk of metal because of its pixel count or speed or battery life...I love how it helps me tell the story. It's a brilliant tool for documenting what is and shaping what could be.

I started telling stories shortly after learning to read them. Simple tales written in pencil grew into crude movies shot with my dad's video camera. This passion took me to film school, where I honed my skill as a writer and director, though I never stopped snapping pictures when I wasn't in class. My love for film is still strong, yet my zest for photography continues to grow; what started as a hobby ten years ago has evolved into something far greater.

Today I'm fortunate to make a living by telling stories. Whether it's a simple portrait, a stirring landscape, or the intricate and amazing process of capturing a wedding day, there is a story waiting to be discovered.

Portrait packages start as low as $150 and wedding packages are designed for a range of budgets. I currently serve the Triangle area of NC, and Buffalo, NY. Travel to other cities or for destination weddings can be arranged.
